A user can click on this kind of link to go to another page on the Web.
- Use the mouse to move the pointer to the desired
location for the link to another Web page.
- Click to position the cursor there.
- Move the pointer to "Insert" at the top of the page and click "Insert". A menu opens down.
- Move down the menu and click on "Hyperlink". A box opens.
- On the left, under "Link to:", choose "Existing File or Web Page".
- At the top of the box, after "Text to display:", type the
desired text.
It might be the header of the other page, or a short description like “IU South Bend Home Page.”
- Near the bottom of the box, directly to the right of "Address:", type in the URL of the other
Web page.
The address for IU South Bend’s home page is http://www.iusb.edu.
