There are a variety of scholarships available to IU South Bend students.

For your convenience, this Web site is divided into four areas:
Campuswide Scholarships and Awards are directed toward IU South Bend students in general, and/or to students in more than one academic unit.
Academic Unit Scholarships and Awards are selected by the school or department itself and are directed toward students in a specific academic school or major.
Graduate Student Scholarships and Awards are directed toward post-baccalaureate students.
Study-Abroad Scholarships and Awards are directed toward students who wish to study abroad.

Many IU South Bend scholarship applications can be printed from our Web site. Printable applications require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. All other applications are available as stated in the description. Please pay close attention to the application deadlines to ensure that your application materials are received in the designated office by the deadline.

Applicants are notified of their status after the application deadline and as soon as decisions are made. E-mail is the official means of communication at IU South Bend. IU South Bend follows FERPA guidelines when sharing the names of scholarship recipients with the scholarship donors, campus, and general public.

Recipients are asked to write thank-you notes to their donor(s) in appreciation of their generosity.

Information regarding outside scholarships (scholarships that are chosen by persons not associated with the university) can be found by following the link on the left. The Office of Student Scholarships and the university are not responsible for selection of these scholarships, nor for the upkeep of the donor’s sites.
