In addition to the 10 courses sociology majors must take for their sociology major, a B.A. degree in sociology requires that students also meet the general education requirements of IUSB as well as the additional requirements of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (to which the department of sociology and anthropology belongs).

These requirements differ depending on when you first began taking courses at IU South Bend. The requirements changed in Fall of 2005.
