The Indiana University South Bend MSW Program offers a part-time, evening program. New students enter in the Summer II session and proceed through the program as a cohort. We offer only one concentration area—Mental Health and Addictions.

In the Foundation Year and the Intermediate Year (years one and two) students complete the required courses. The third year is the Concentration year when most of the concentration courses are completed. Students participate in field placements in the Spring of the Intermediate Year, and the Fall and Spring of the Concentration Year.

Classes start at 6:55 P.M. and end at 9:15 P.M. Three credit courses meet one night weekly. Students in the Foundation Year take two courses in both the Fall and Spring semesters, resulting in a two-night-per-week schedule.
