University Center for Excellence in Teaching
The University Center for Excellence in Teaching (UCET) supports teaching and learning on the IU South Bend campus. Our mission is to enhance faculty development and student learning through various programs and support systems such as
workshops on pedagogy and practice,
workshops and consultations on technology integration,
evaluation and support for emerging educational technologies,
orientation materials for new faculty,
confidential consultations on faculty teaching,
conference funding,
mentoring programs,
and assistance with portfolio development .
In addition, our staff actively participates in national conferences as well as system-wide conferences.
