All veterans receiving benefits under Child of Disabled Veteran (CDV) take note that CDV now pays 100% of tuition! This figure is up from the previous 70% coverage. Contact the Financial Aid Office for details.

Veteran News, the free newsletter of the Veteran Student Services Office, is currently available. All current IUSB Veterans receiving benefits will receive a copy by mail. There will be a new newsletter each semester. If you are in the Michiana area and would like to request a free copy, please e-mail us at veterans@iusb.edu with your name and address, or drop by the Veteran Student Services office.

The basic monthly rates for the GI Bill has increased effective October 1, 1999. This reflects the annual cost of living increase. Full time payments have increased to $536.00 per month for Ch. 30 recipients, and $255.00 per month for full time Ch. 1606 Guard or Reserve. Call or stop by the IUSB Veteran Student Services office for a complete listing.

Meetings for the Veterans' Affairs Club will be held at 5:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the cafeteria unless otherwise notified. Call Jeff Lindke in the IUSB Veteran Student Services office at 237-4115 for more information and to be placed on the club e-mail list for event information.

Visit the Veterans' Affairs Club bulletin board just outside the cafeteria across from the student lounge for club information and current items of interest.
