Successful Students, Successful Alumni

More than a Decade of Generosity

$900,000 in support, 200+ Scholarships Awarded

What began with the vision of attracting some of Michiana's best and brightest students to IU South Bend has grown into scholarship program that supports a broad range of students, from incoming Honors freshman to non-traditional students to Hispanic students.

A review of the last 10 years shows that IU South Bend Alumni Association scholarship recipients are successful students - and continue to be successful in their chosen fields after graduation. As students, they average higher than a 3.5 GPA. Some are attending medical school while others have established themselves in retail, financial, and other professional careers. Many of them live and work in Michiana, joining the more than two-thirds of our 28,000 alumni who stay in this area.
