Alumni, student, and faculty artists from the Raclin School of the Arts Visual Arts and New Media areas are invited to participate in the annual LOOK! Scholarship Art Sale.

The annual Scholarship Art Sale is both a scholarship fundraiser and a learning laboratory acquainting undergraduate students with the business of art. “The sale helps student artists learn skills they’ll need to be successful, from framing and pricing their art to establishing relationships with patrons,” says Director of Community Outreach Michele Morgan-Dufour. Thirty-five percent of the proceeds will support scholarships for visual arts and new media students and 65% of an artwork’s sale price goes to the artist.

The artist information and entry packet is available on the school of the arts website, at the Fine Arts Building, and in the arts office, Northside Hall, Room 101. Eligible artists must be IU South Bend visual arts or new media students, faculty, or alumni. Entry forms are due November 6.

The “LOOK!” Scholarship Art Sale will be open Nov. 8-9 from 12 pm to 9 pm and Nov. 10 from 9 am to 6 pm. The sale will take place in Northside Hall’s East Lounge, adjacent to the Campus Auditorium on the campus of IU South Bend.
