Celebrating Commencement and Arts Excellence Awards

commencementGarbed in the traditional cap and gown, IU South Bend’s new graduates gathered at Notre Dame’s Joyce Center on May 7 for the annual commencement ceremony. Sixty-one arts students walked across the stage to collect their hard-earned diplomas, including students who graduated in December, May, and those who will graduate this August. A record-breaking 54 students graduated this spring alone.

The house was packed with graduates and their supporters in the stands. After an inspiring and emotional ceremony, the new graduates enjoyed cake and celebrated with faculty, family, and friends. Congratulation to all of our 2012-13 graduates!
