A New Year inspires us to embrace new challenges and look forward to all that is to come. The Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts ended the year being chosen as the host site for the 2011 Governor’s Arts Award Dinner, an enormous honor.

Our 2011 is off to a roaring start. We began the performance year with our second collaboration with the South Bend Symphony Orchestra in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. on January 17. The Martin Fellowship recital featuring the Toradze Piano Studio occurs on January 28thand reservations are being taken for the special Heart String and Valentine evening featuring The Euclid Quartet at Trio’s Resturant on February 14th.
Come by and see The Temple, a wonderful sculpture on loan to us from Father Austin Collins of Notre Dame as it graces the front of the library and come for his lecture on February 3rd.  The Wind and the Willows is our 44th consecutive Children’s Theater Production and opens February 10th and ends February 18th.

We continue the celebration of our 20th anniversary and invite you to come and visit us at anytime.  We are looking forward to the 2011-2012 academic year and are auditioning students for our next freshman class. We always are looking for talented students who want to be inspired and nurtured by our talented faculty and staff.  We continue to aspire to be the best and to give our best not only to our students but to our community as well.
