Welcome to 2012 and another exciting semester at the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts.  For the next few months we will busy as ever starting with the Martin Luther King Jr. Concert with the South Bend Symphony. There will be concerts and recitals including a presentation  by “Pulsoptional”; auditions for the upcoming theater productions  of Johnny Appleseed and H.M.S. , Pinafore; IUSB Forums; Speech Night; B.F.A. Art Exhibitions, and we will end by hosting The Governor’s Arts Awards.  It will be quite a semester!!

As always we are proud of our accomplishments and our students. I are pleased to announce that we will host our first ever residential Arts Camp during June of 2012 thanks to funds from the Chancellor’s Office. We will have students studying next year in England and Moscow and we anticipate several of our students spending the summer working in theaters around the country.  Our faculty will be making presentations, attending conferences, and performing around the country and around the world. We will be out recruiting new students and hiring new faculty. We may even have a few surprises as the year develops. We are proud to be the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts so look for us and come visit us as we aspire to inspire.
