Refunds

If you officially withdraw from a course, refunds are made according to the schedule below. See the Bursar Services homepage or the IU South Bend academic calendar for refund dates for a specific semester. All refunds will be mailed to your home address or sent to your bank account if you have set up direct deposit.   Be sure to keep your address current by using Onestart.

Direct Deposit of Refunds

You can have your refund deposited directly into your personal checking or savings account and greatly reduce the time it takes to receive your refund. To arrange for direct deposit, log onto OneStart, then select “Sign up for Direct Deposit ” under the “My Finances” heading and follow the step-by-step instructions.
