Entrepreneurship Lecture Series to Begin Sept. 10

The Indiana University South Bend School of Business and Economics will present the seventh annual Entrepreneurship Lecture Series beginning on Sept. 10 with Mark Tarner, president of South Bend Chocolate. He will speak on “Wealth Creation Starts Here.”

Each lecture will be presented by a local entrepreneur who will give information about being in business, creating a business and staying in business. The lecture series is called “Sustainable Wealth Creation.”

Each lecture begins at 7 p.m. on Thursdays from Sept. 10 through Nov. 19 in Room 1001, Wiekamp Hall, on the corner of Mishawaka Avenue and 20th Street.

The lectures are free and open to the public. The series is also part of a master’s degree program and an undergraduate concentration in entrepreneurship.

The series is sponsored by Lake City Bank and is supported by the Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County.
