ETS Field Test Results for IU South Bend

Students in the undergraduate and MBA programs in the School of Business and Economics at Indiana University South Bend scored in the top 5 percent of the Educational Testing Service (ETA) exams taken in the spring.

The field tests for business graduates measures critical knowledge and understanding.  Questions employ such materials as diagrams, graphs and statistical data and test students’ ability to analyze and solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material. The tests have more than 100 multiple choice questions.

Forty-four students took the undergraduate examine and scored 164, while the national mean was 151.6. Thirteen MBA students took the test and their mean score was 265. The national mean was 249.5. Hundreds of universities administer the test.

IU South Bend has required the tests for undergraduates since 1996 and the MBA test since 2002.
