Prior to coming to Indiana University South Bend, Dr. David taught Principles of Economics, Intermediate Microeconomics, International Trade, International Finance, and Global Political Economy courses at Universidad Iberoamericana, Claremont McKenna College, Pitzer College, and the University of Redlands Graduate School of Business. He was a Registered Investment Advisor, founder of an investment advisory firm, and co-founder of an aqua-culture firm. He is a member of the American Economic Association, the Western Economics Association International, and the Latin American and Caribbean Economics Association. His current research interests include: international economics, economic growth and development, economic integration and globalization .
