Gihoon Hong, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Economics, School of Business and Economics, received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia where he received his M.A. in Economics in 2006. His dissertation is entitled “U.S. and Domestic Migration Decisions of Mexican Workers,” and his teaching and research interests include labor economics, applied microeconomics, demographic economics, and international trade.
