Thomas Hiatt is the founder of Centerfield Capital Partners, one of the largest institutionally backed providers of private growth capital based in Indiana. Centerfield Capital manages risk capital for a number of institutional investors including pension funds, financial institutions, foundations, corporations, and university endowments.
Centerfield Capital invests primarily in privately-held growth companies with revenues between $15 and $100 million, and EBITDA margins of 10 percent or more.
Hiatt has worked in private equity for more than 20 years. He is currently chair-elect of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies, a director of Lake City Financial Corp. and Lake City Bank, and serves as a director or trustee of several other organizations, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
Hiatt is a graduate of Wabash College and the Alfred P. Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
