What Your Placement Exam Scores Mean

Reading

A score of 90+ on the Reading exam is highly recommended for the following courses:
PSY-P 103 General Psychology
T 190 Literary and Intellectual Traditions


Math
Level Course in which to enroll
0-1 MATH-A100 - enhanced version. You are also encouraged to attend a math exam workshop and then retake the math placement exam to attempt to test at a higher level prior to the start of the semester.
2 MATH-A100 Fundamentals of Algebra
3 MATH-M 107 College Algebra (does not fulfill campus-wide Quantitative Reasoning requirement; must pass with grade of C- or higher to advance to Level 4)
or may enroll in:

MATH-M 111 Mathematics in the World
MATH-M 118 Finite Mathematics
MATH-T 101 Math for Elementary Teachers

5 MATH-M 126 Trigonometric Functions or MATH-M 115 Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry (w/ grade of C- or higher to advance to Level 6)
