Our campus regularly offers workshops and organizes panel discussions on community-engaged teaching. Follow us on Facebook and keep your eye on the Community Engagement Calendar to learn about upcoming opportunities. Every other year we also run the IU South Bend Engaged Faculty Fellows Program. Fellows participate in group discussions with peers and receive one-on-one mentoring over the course of a year. They receive a $3,000 stipend once they have offered their community-engaged course. More information on this program will be available in Summer 2021.
Indiana Campus Compact, an organization that supports higher education’s community-engaged work, also offers a fellowship program. You can find details on that here.
