Agriculture, Food, and Values
The Working Group on Agriculture, Food, and Values aims to facilitate interaction between the University and the community on issues around local and sustainable agriculture. A small core group of University and community members meets once a semester to talk about ongoing research and initiatives, while a listserv provides a way for all interested people in the area to stay up to date on Michiana sustainable agriculture.

Michiana Organic Growers Cooperative
Vision: To build an environmentally sustainable food system that promotes food security, economic relocalization, and community resilience within the Michiana area and beyond.
Mission: To work with farmers to increase the supply of organically grown food and profitably market their products within the Michiana area.
