All students will take at least two years of pre-requisite courses prior to applying to the two year professional program. The knowledge within the dental hygiene program builds on the pre-requisite courses. It is very important students really grasp what they are learning in these courses. All students will take courses in the following areas:
General Education (see IUSB General Education for more information)
Common Core (one must be at the 390/399 level)
Contemporary Social Values
If you are a licensed or registered dental hygienist already and are interested in pursuing the bachelor degree, Carmen Dielman and Kim DeOrto are the advisors. You can contact them by calling the Dental Education program at 574-520-4158. You can also get more information about the degree here.
