Opportuntities to Give to IU South Bend
The development office is an active and vibrant group working with diverse programs and scholarships that benefit students and a myriad of campus programs. We are also involved in capital projects that enhance and beautify our university.
There are several capital projects that we are working to complete.
We are currently leading the effort to raise the final $2 million in support of the renovation of the Administration Building. This is a $7.7 miillion renovation project. This renovation will return this gateway building to the glory it was meant to have and improve function for students, faculty, and staff. Thanks to the great generosity of Kurt Simon and Barbara Warner, the Administration Building interior courtyards have been completely renovated and landscaped. This interior renovation provides lighting, seating, and improved aesthetics for all to enjoy.
The renovated Education & Arts Building, a $22 million Indiana state project, will include the Fine Arts program in the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts, the School of Education and the Dental Education Wing. To support the Dental Education Wing, generous benefactors have contributed over $600,000 toward the $1 million fundraising campaign to outfit the new clinical spaces with digital equipment and up-to-date dental technology. Dental Equipment courses will begin there in the fall of 2013. The Education and Arts Building will be completed in the spring and a building dedication is planned for April 17, 2013.
There are more than 200 funds to which you can give in support of Indiana University South Bend. Consider how you would like to support the campus and our students by giving a gift to an existing fund. Or, share your vision with us and talk to us about starting a new fund.
Thank you for sharing in our dreams.
