Education Advising Office

This office provides a multitude of services for students in the School of Education including academic advisement, information of licensure, and other information regarding graduation requirements. Students interested in pursuing a degree in Education are encouraged to contact the Education Advising Office by phone (574) 520-4185 to set up an appointment with an academic advisor.

Mission Statement

The office of Education Advising strives to achieve excellence in our dedication to foster relationships and collaboration with students and faculty in the School of Education and with the IU South Bend campus community.  Advisors in the School of Education partner with students to support, encourage, and assist them in their efforts to succeed academically and to make their educational goals a reality. In addition, student development is priority in our service to ensure education students will succeed professionally in a diverse community in and out of the classroom.

Office Hours

Monday - Friday:  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.   

(Extended Walk-ins on Wednesdays and Thursdays until 6:00 p.m.)
