About the School of Education. The School of Education is home to over 500 undergraduate and nearly 100 graduate students. We have undergraduate programs in elementary education, secondary education & foundations of education and special education. We also have graduate programs in Counseling, Special Education, Elementary and Secondary Education with an emphasis in Leadership or English as a Second Language. All of our programs are nationally accredited through The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) or the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

Our Distinguished Faculty, Staff & Students. Our faculty, staff and students are accomplished teachers, scholars and community leaders. Two of our students, Jennifer Benak and Mary Clare Fields, have organized a group "The Education Student Council" designed to provide more consistent engagement with students. For more information about the Education Council, click here.
