Margaret Patton Chapman has taught at IUSB since 2009. Her fiction has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Elimae, Diagram, Cell Stories, The2ndhand, decomP, Kill Author, and in the anthology The Way We Sleep. She's been shortlisted for the Diagram Innovative Fiction Award and the Writer's At Work Fellowship, and her epistolary publishing experiment, The Packit Project was featured in the Chicago Reader. Before she went to grad school for writing, she wrote about music and technology for the weekly paper the The Austin Chronicle.
In addition to playing around with words on paper, she's interested in translating work between media, and her collaborative sound installation "Try To Be Both" was selected for Version08 and broadcast on Vocalo Radio.
