Make Your Year End Appeal More Appealing
In 2015, an estimated $373 billion was given to charitable causes. Annually, individuals account for approximately 85% of the total. Further, about 30% of total giving is contributed in December and 12% is donated in the last three days of the calendar year. A majority of charities receive 50% of their budgets during the last quarter of the calendar year—making a year-end appeal an integral component of your nonprofit’s fundraising development strategy.
Taught by a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), this course begins with teaching best practices for a year-end appeal and ends with a finished product to take back to your organization!
Before the fall fundraising rush is upon you, this interactive 9-hour course is designed to: 1) learn best practices and trends in year-end giving; 2) help you plan your appeal, begin content, and determine scope between class sessions; and 3) finalize your appeal after gathering class feedback and instructor review in the final session.
