Summer Resident Assistant (SRA)


Summer Resident Assistants (SRA) are undergraduate students who live in campus housing throughout the summer and assist the Office of Housing and Residence Life summer students and conference guests.  SRA responsibilities includes staffing the building/houses at Indiana Univerity South Bend, holding community building hours to staff the front desk and other tasks as assigned, assist in coordinating check-in and check-out for summer students and conference guests or groups, provide duty coverage during evening hours (5pm-8am), weekend hours (Friday 5pm - Monday 8am) and holidays, attend weekly staff meetings and one on ones and other duties as assigned.

    • Summer Resident Assistants will schedule two (2) hours in an assigned area during finals week to learn and observe the check-in and check-out process and other administrative processes
