Resident Assistants

The Office of Housing and Residence Life would like to thank you for your interest in the Resident Assistant position for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Each residential house on campus typically has one resident assistant who works with the students who resides in the entryway. Depending on the area on campus where you reside, you can be sure there is always an RA nearby.

Resident assistants promote community, answer questions about the university and campus life, plan social and educational events, assist with roommate/apartment concerns, and help residents feel welcome at Indiana University South Bend. Students selected to serve as resident assistants participate in several weeks of intensive training, and are highly qualified to provide support and guidance to residents.

Resident Assistants for the 2017-2018 Academic Year have already been selected, however if you have any questions concerning the Resident Assistant position, please feel free to contact Nicole Micolichek at
