Each residential house on campus typically has one resident assistant who works with the students who resides in the entryway. Depending on the area on campus where you reside, you can be sure there is always an RA nearby.
Resident assistants promote community, answer questions about the university and campus life, plan social and educational events, assist with roommate/apartment concerns, and help residents feel welcome at Indiana University South Bend. Students selected to serve as resident assistants participate in several weeks of intensive training, and are highly qualified to provide support and guidance to residents.
If you are interested in applying for a Resident Assistant (RA) position for the 2016-2017 academic year, the application is available online as well as at the Community Building Front Desk. Please see below for postion description, application, and application timeline.
If you have any questions concerning the Resident Assistant position, please feel free to speak to Nicole Micolichek, Loni Oehlwein or Ricky Ganaishlal.
