Declaration of East Asia Studies Minor
A minor in EAST ASIAN STUDIES at IUSB consists of a 15 credit hour program to be arranged in consultation with an East Asian Studies advisor. The program for a minor must be arranged at least one semester before graduation. 6 of these credit hours must be from the “core” courses, 6 credit hours be elective, in addition to one 400 level course or an equivalent work in a 300-level course or an independent study with an East Asian Studies faculty. East Asian studies Minors must encompass least 2 geographic areas (such as China and Japan) and 2 different departments of academic discipline.
