Spanish language, literature, and culture.
My areas of specialization are Spanish Medieval and Early Modern Literature and Second Language Instruction. I have published on diverse journals on Medieval Epic Poetry and Early Renaissance Theater. My book, Poesía y Violencia (Cálamo, Palencia: 2009), studies the representation of violence in the 1207 Poema de mio Cid.
