Library Instruction Request Form

Library Instruction sessions (typically 75 minutes in length) are tailored to the needs of the class to complete a specific library research assignment. Sessions may range from an overview of basic library resources to the use of advanced or subject research materials and techniques. Please note:

  • We require 10 days notice to schedule your class session.
  • You will be contacted to verify date and time and to discuss material to be presented.
  • We request 75 minutes for most sessions.
  • Please inform students of the exact assignment in advance of the session. It is helpful if students have an idea of their research topic before the session.

YOUR RETURN ADDRESS IS IMPORTANT!

Fill in all the relevant sections of the form below. Click the "Send Session Request" button to send the request. You will be contacted by your subject librarian to discuss library instruction and to confirm the session date, location, and time. If you have questions, please contact Nancy Colborn, Head of Information Literacy Services, at 520-4321.
