Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematical Sciences invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor starting August 14, 2017.  Pending budgetary approval, this position may become a tenure-track position.  The successful applicant will have completed all of the requirements for a Ph.D. in the mathematical sciences by the time of appointment.  The department is particularly interested in candidates with a research area in discrete mathematics, an interest in mentoring undergraduate research, and a willingness to share the responsibilities for the mathematical preparation of future teachers.  Experiences and/or licensure in secondary education will be taken into consideration.  The teaching load for this position is 12 credits per semester. Associate Faculty

The department is looking for qualified mathematics instructors. Preference will be given to applicants with a master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
