SAP Certification

IU South Bend is a Member of SAP’s University Alliance Program. SAP certifications are awarded to the students who have successfully completed required courses both in the MS-MIT and BS (MIS concentration) programs.

MS-MIT:
The following courses have to be successfully completed to receive the SAP certification:

  • BUSB K507: Enterprise Resource Planning Systems
  • BUSB K515: Electronic Commerce
  • BUSB K520: Business Process Reengineering

BS (MIS concentration):
The following courses have to be successfully completed to receive the SAP certification:

  • BUS S410: Systems Implementation
  • BUS K301: Enterprise Resource Planning
  • BUS K435: Advanced Topics in Computer Information Systems
These courses will concentrate on SAP’s PP, FI, CO, MM, SD modules. Basic navigation of these modules will be taught as an introduction.Students will learn the conceptual framework and strategy behind SAP’s business engineering initiative as well as how to model business processes using SAP. Basic SAP configurations in FI, CO, SD, and MM modules will be taught as well. The courses are designed to provide future managers an in-depth, hands-on understanding of business processes using SAP. SAP implementation techniques in industry will be a part of the curriculum.
