The IU South Bend women’s basketball team will play Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, at 6:30 p.m. (EST) Wednesday in Milwaukee. This is the first round of the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) tournament.
The Wolves are 24-5 and 14-4 in the conference. The team received a second seed in the North Division while IU South Bend received a third seed in the South Division.
The Titans beat Cardinal Stritch on Jan. 29 by 62-58. That ended the Wolves 18-game winning streak. Currently the Wolves are 17th in the country.
The men’s and women’s CCAC finals will be Saturday. The time and place will be determined as the tournament progresses.
The men’s team lost Monday in overtime to Roosevelt University, Chicago, in the first round of the CCAC tournament. The score was 73-69.
The Titans finish the 2013-14 season with a 12-18 record.
