Indiana University South Bend is offering a 25% tuition discount to Indiana resident undergraduate students attending classes during its two upcoming summer sessions. The summer tuition discount is an effort to help students save money and stay on track to graduate on time or early.
The summer tuition discount is perfect for current IU South Bend students who want to continue working on their degree program over the summer and for Indiana University students from other campuses who are spending the summer in the South Bend area.
Undergraduate Indiana residents taking a course will get a 25% discount on summer tuition; non-resident undergraduate students will receive an equivalent reduction in tuition. The summer tuition discount includes online courses. Students who take a full course load could save from $700 to $900.
Interested undergraduate students should check out the 2014 summer schedule at IU South Bend by visiting https://www.iusb.edu/registrar/schedulelanding.php to review the courses that are available. Current students can enroll beginning March 31 through their OneStart account. New students can enroll beginning April 7.
Current students from other IU campuses should check with their academic advisors to confirm that the courses they want to take will meet their degree requirements. Then they should complete a temporary intercampus transfer application at https://www.iupui.edu/~moveiu/moveiu.html
Non-IU students transferring from another school need to apply for guest student status through the Office of Admissions.
Classes for Summer Session 1 at IU South Bend start on May 19. Classes for Summer Session 2 start on July 7.
