The Sustainability and Innovation Lecture Series organized by IU South Bend’s Center for a Sustainable Future is hosting the final two lectures in the series in April. Throughout the series, local sustainability practitioners have presented their initiatives, explained their triple bottom line approach, and their sustainability career path. All talks are interactive, informative, and provide time to connect with the speaker and South Bend’s sustainability community.
On Wednesday, April 6, Therese Dorau, Director of South Bend’s Office of Sustainability, discusses “Smart Streets, Smart Sewers, Smart Citizens: The Infrastructure of Sustainable Living.”
On Wednesday, April 13, Robert Colangelo, President of Green Sense Farms in Portage, IN, presents “Sustainability: An Environmental Entrepreneurs Perspective.”
Both talks will take place from 7:00-8:30pm on the IU South Bend campus in Wiekamp Hall Room 1001. No reservations are required; however, seating is limited.
