Share Your Heart Food Drive

Titans Feeding Titans, the student-run pantry serving IU South Bend, will be collecting donations from the community at its Share Your Heart Food Drive on Saturday, February 13.

From 9 am until noon, the organization will be taking drive-up donations in the parking lot of the Student Activities Center. Volunteers will be on hand to unload donations directly from vehicles. Donations will also be collected inside the SAC during the Titans women’s basketball game from 12:30 to 2pm.

Titans Feeding Titans is in need of monetary donations, as well as hygiene products and non-perishable food items. They are partnered with the Northern Indiana Food Bank and are able to purchase in bulk at a discount.

Suggested food items include:

  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly
  • Canned tuna
  • Canned chicken
  • Microwaveable pasta
  • Protein/cereal bars
  • Cereal
  • Pantry staples
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned/dried fruits
  • Canned chili
  • Ramen noodles
  • Canned or powdered soups
  • Crackers
  • Single serving tea/coffee
  • Soap/Shampoo/Toothpaste/Body Wash/Deodorant


Titans Feeding Titans is an initiative from the Social Work Department and Student Services at IU South Bend. It will begin operations in room 114 of the SAC with a tentative schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm once it is fully stocked with community donations.
