I began my college career at Indiana University in 2002 with the intentions of becoming a Visual Arts Teacher. However, as most students do, I changed majors and graduated from IU in 2007 with a Degree in General Studies and a Minor in Telecommunications.
Eventually, after spending 5 years in different managerial positions throughout the retail world and doing a year of portrait photography, I decided to return to college in 2013 and pursue Graphic Design.
I graduated from IUSB with a Degree in Graphic Design in 2015. While finishing my last semester of college though, I got a job creating printed ads for the South Bend Tribune and other newspapers. I parted ways with the newspapers in 2016 when I was offered to become a Graphic Designer for IUSB’s Communications and Marketing Department.
When I’m not working, I spend time with my dog, get sweaty in the gym, play ice hockey, strum my guitar a bit, change the words to songs, run Netflix marathons, admire cosplay, dive into video games, cook, grill, and bake (well, attempt to), and occasionally find time for friends and family. Lastly, I’m a sucker for conversations about music, movies, and/or comics.
