Orientation Reservations - Incoming Summer/Fall 2015 Students
There are two different orientation programs for students new to IU South Bend. Any required placement exams (English and/or math) must be completed PRIOR to reserving for orientation. Click here for exam reservations.
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION (full-day program)
You will attend this program if you are either of the following:
- First-time college student
- Transfer student with less than 26 credit hours (freshman standing)
Registration for classes for the above students takes place during orientation, so it is to your advantage to attend the earliest possible orientation.
NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION (half-day program)
You have the option of attending this program if you are any of the following:
- Transfer students with 26 or more credit hours (sophomore standing and above)
- Age 21 or older
Transfer students with 26 or more hours have the option of registering for classes prior to attending orientation. Call (574) 520-5005 for advising contact information. Veterans and students 21 or older will register for classes during the orientation program.
ORIENTATION DATES WILL BE POSTED AND RESERVATIONS OPEN ON MONDAY, MARCH 16.
