Orientation Reservations - Incoming Summer/Fall 2017 Students

Orientation is a required program for all students new to IU South Bend. There are two different orientation programs for students new to campus:

1. First-Time students and transfer students w/less than 18 credit hours
New Student Orientation (full-day program, 9:00a - 4:00p)

Registration for the above students takes place during orientation. Parents and guests are welcome to attend New Student Orientation, but we ask that you limit the number of guests at two.

Reservations are required and there are no walk-ins. Seating is limited for each orientation and reservations will close one week prior to each orientation unless capacity is reached sooner. Click on the links below to reserve or call (574) 520-5005. If you are required to take the English and/or math placement exam, these should be completed at least two days prior to attending orientation. Not having the required exams completed will impact being able to complete the class registration process at Orientation. If you are unsure which exam(s) to take, refer to your Admissions certificate or contact the Office of Admissions at (574) 520-4839 or
