Orientation Reservations - Incoming Summer/Fall 2017 Students
Orientation is a required program for all students new to IU South Bend. There are two different orientation programs for students new to campus:
1. First-Time students and transfer students w/less than 18 credit hours
New Student Orientation (full-day program, 9:00a - 4:00p)
Registration for the above students takes place during orientation, so it is to your advantage to attend the earliest possible orientation. Parents and guests are welcome to attend New Student Orientation, but we ask that you limit the number of guests at two.
Reservations are required and there are no walk-ins. Seating is limited for each orientation and reservations will close one week prior to each orientation unless capacity is reached sooner. Click on the links below to reserve or call (574) 520-5005. If you are required to take the English and/or math placement exam, these must be completed one week prior to attending orientation, or your reservation will be canceled. If you are unsure which exam(s) to take, refer to your Admissions certificate or contact the Office of Admissions at (574) 520-4839 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Saturday, May 20 (FULL)
2. Transfer Students with 18 or more credit hours OR students age 24 or older
Transfer Student Orientation (half-day program, 9:00a - noon)
Registration for the above students takes place PRIOR to orientation. Click here for advising contact information or call (574) 520-5005. If you are required to take the English and/or math placement exam, these must be completed prior to meeting with an academic advisor to register for classes.
Due to limited space, Transfer Student Orientation is restricted to students only.
