Program Overview

The Department of Physics and Astronomy offers B.S. and B.A. degrees in Physics, a Minor in Physics, a Minor in Earth & Space Science, and a variety of courses for non-majors in physics, astronomy, and geology. Students interested in pursuing an engineering degree can begin their studies at IU South Bend in this department, and they may want to consider our dual-degree program with participating engineering schools.
