This fast-paced, action-oriented course provides a comprehensive overview of nonprofit fundraising strategies & tactics for full-time professionals working in the nonprofit sector or volunteers looking to expand their knowledge. By utilizing case studies, completing relevant projects, and engaging in group discussion, participants will learn how to apply fundraising strategies within the nonprofit sector.
This course will also study the role of board, staff, and volunteers in developing effective fundraising strategies. Participants will expand their understanding of fundraising operations. Particular attention will be paid to fundraising, donor engagement and stewardship during this global pandemic.
Money Back Guarantee:
People that attend 80% of the sessions, and use the templates provided are guaranteed to have a fundraising plan that they can implement immediately upon completion of the course.
Successful completion of this program has two components:
- Build & Deliver a Fundraising Plan - All participants will create a fundraising plan based on their organization’s data. The plan will be given as a PowerPoint presentation by the participant to the other members of the program. Fundraising plan presentations will be given online by the participants and will be recorded. All participants are strongly urged to invite their organization’s senior volunteer and staff leadership to view their presentation. The fundraising plan needs to show the participant has incorporated the strategies, tactics, and best practices learned during the program.
- Attendance - All participants will be expected to attend the scheduled sessions. However, we know, occasionally, things are outside of the participants’ control. Therefore, to successfully complete the program, participants can only miss only 20% of the scheduled instruction. If the participant misses more than 20% of instruction, they can continue to participate in the program, but are not eligible to receive the certificate of completion.
