                VT: PROJECT APPALACHIA
                 Alternative spring break experience, March 10 - 16, in
                 Jonesville, Virginia.  Please contact Scott Strittmatter for
                 details. Must have permission to enroll.

                 Project Appalachia
                 Registration fee in the amount of $85 required and is due by
                 January 13.  Nonpayment will result in being dropped from
                 this class.
                 Required class meetings:  once in January and once in
                 February to do prep work for the project, dates and time TBA.
                   Then, a yet to be determined activity in April to tie up
                 the experience.
                 Travel, Lodging and Meals are included in the cost. Separate
                 bunking rooms for males and females. Participation in
                 programming about poverty is required. Spots are limited.

                 Travel to worksite, and lunch each day are included in the
                 cost. Participation in reflection and academic programming is
                 required. Spots are limited, A lab fee of $20 is required,
                 payable to the Office of Student Life and is due by January
