Honors Program

The IU South Bend Honors Program offers highly motivated students the opportunity for an enriched college experience. From their first semester, Honors students will be immersed in a supportive environment with exhilarating academic discussion and challenging coursework. Students will experience a high degree of personal attention in discussion-based classes that mentally stimulate the academically curious student. Honors classes are capped at 15 students (and often contain fewer). To round out the Honors experience, Honors students design a senior project completed under the mentorship of a small group of experienced faculty members. In addition, Honors students can receive financial support throughout their tenure as undergraduates at IU South Bend in the form of Honors scholarships, further increasing the value of the program. The result is a much-enriched college experience that will prepare students to become the leaders of tomorrow. For more information please visit the Honors Program website.
