IU South Bend students receive approximately $43 million in financial aid each year. This includes scholarships and grants offering "free money" (not paid back), work-study opportunities that allow you to work and earn money to help pay for your costs, and low-interest student and parent loans (borrowed money that must be repaid).
More than half of IU South Bend students qualify for financial aid.
