Summer/Fall 2023 Students
It's exciting to start your college journey, but we also understand it can be equally overwhelming. Our New Student Orientation is designed to make the process as straightforward as possible.
At IU South Bend, our strong sense of community means there is always someone invested in your success and ready to do whatever it takes to help you to pursue your passions, achieve your goals, and make your mark on the world. If you have any questions along the way, always feel free to reach out for assistance.
Check back in mid-March for information on orientation, advising, and registration. We will have several orientation programs throughout the spring and summer where you can come to campus, register for classes, and obtain your CrimsonCard, the official student ID. You can also meet with various student support services, such as 21st Century Scholars, Disability Support Services, Financial Aid, Veteran Student Services, and more. An optional campus tour will be available to help familiarize yourself with the campus prior to the start of classes in August. A limited number of virtual registration opportunities will be available where you can meet with an advisor via Zoom. Check back in late February for complete details!
