Faculty may wish to include information about their use for FLAGS in their syllabi. Attendance will be captured through FLAGS at the end of the 4th and 9th week. Mid-term assessments will be captured at the end of the 9th week.
Faculty and administrators who have access IUIE can access FLAGS reports through the Indiana University Information Environment by following the path below:
IUIE > Catalog > Master Catalog > Student > Records > FLAGS > FLAGS Roster Report for Instructors
Many of the key functions of FLAGS was modeled after IU Retain. In the past, “push” notifications were sent to advisors as faculty reported risk indicators in IU Retain. At the present time, these notifications are not available in FLAGS and advisors can obtain FLAGS information through the SIS Administrative Center and/or IUIE.
Advisors and staff who have access IUIE can access FLAGS reports through the Indiana University Information Environment by following the path below:
IUIE > Catalog > Master Catalog > Student > Records > FLAGS > FLAGS Roster Report for Advisors
Additional reports are available in the IUIE FLAGS folder.
Advisors who have been formally assigned to their students through SIS, can view FLAGS information through the Student Information System Administrative Center by following the path listed below:
SIS > Main Menu > Self-Service > Administrative Center > My Advisees (Students who have been identified as at-risk will have a link to FLAGS in their row)
