Haven't learned about Canvas yet? Canvas is the new Learning Management System set to replace Oncourse after the Summer 2016 semester. Canvas offers many features not currently available in Oncourse, including:
  • Audio and Video: Ability to upload audio and video files or create them on the fly for embedding in the WYSIWYG editor or adding as attachments (See Current and Upcoming Pilots to learn about video management tools that can integrate with Canvas)
  • Student Analytics: Colorful visualizations showing aggregated data of each student's course activity, assignment submissions, grades, and participation for an at-a-glance look at student performance
  • Mobility: Free, full-featured mobile apps for the iOS and Android operating systems
