2016 IU South Bend Undergraduate Research Conference
Friday, April 15 in Wiekamp Hall
The Submission Deadline is March 25, 2016
About the Conference
The Indiana University South Bend Undergraduate Research Conference was established to provide a forum for undergraduates to share their research and creative activity with the IUSB community. The event will showcase the vitality of student scholarship on our campus and encourage its future growth. In doing so, it will further IUSB’s mission to foster an experiential learning environment that “engages students in the joy of researching and expanding the knowledge base of their academic area.” The conference is open to students in any academic program, and the work they present may be the product of a class or of independent research/creative activity. Students are also welcome to organize their own panels on specific topics. To propose a paper or panel, students should fill out the submission form.
The conference consists of two morning panel sessions, a poster session, and an afternoon panel session, with several panels and poster sessions running concurrently during each time slot. Each panel will last one hour and twenty minutes and feature 4-5 presentations. A lunch is provided for all participants and audience members who have registered for the conference.
For more information about this year's conference, please contact one of the conference organizers.
