Veteran to Veteran Mentoring Program @ IU South Bend

The transition from military service to the classroom can be tough, but we can help.  The Office of Veteran Student Services Mentoring Program at Indiana University South Bend provides personalized student support, helping student veterans and dependents plan their academics, and find tutoring, counseling, and experiential learning.  Mentors in this program are upperclassmen trained to help, and have practical experience with a wide range of student issues and support resources.

If you’re a new or transfer student, you’ll have someone to answer your questions, guide you through paperwork, ease your nerves and help you make the right choices for your education and your future career.

If you’re an upperclassman or graduate student, you can use your first-hand knowledge and experience to help a new student veteran through the ups and downs of adjusting to college life and planning for the future.
