Can my site have a rotating featured image?

Unless it's a school site, no.

Why have links on my site become broken or missing?

Moving or renaming system names on pages will break links. Please be aware that if you move or rename a page it will disrupt all links connected to that page. WCMS will only warn you of this, not prevent it from happening. To correct this you will need to relink all associated pages manually.

Should I use the "www" in front of my subdomain?

No, it is not needed. The only use of "www" is for the homepage at www.iusb.edu

How do I retrieve campus photos to use on my site?

Photos can be retrieved by browsing for the photo in the folder "_Featured_Images". This folder houses images for the entire campus organized by category.

How do I track activity on my website?

Send an email request to the UITS Support Center at helpdesk@iusb.edu with a request to see the web stats link for your website and a URL will be provided.

I Don't Have Access to WCMS

If you are having problems accessing WCMS even after visiting WCMS@IU, contact the UITS Support Center.

I Can't See My Site in WCMS

If you can't see your site folder in WCMS or can't gain access to view your folder, contact the UITS Support Center and tell them what site specifically you need to gain access to.

My Subdomain Won't Work

Unfortunately, only the addresses without the "www" work. Please refrain from using "www" when promoting your department websites. The only use of "www" going forward will be for the campus website www.iusb.edu.
